There’s something truly magical about golden hour in the redwoods — the light filters through the trees, creating that soft, glowing warmth that feels both calm and alive. Our evening together was one of those perfect early fall sessions, with golden light and clear skies, and a sense of ease that comes from being surrounded by nature.
This sweet family came together to celebrate their five-month-old baby boy with a relaxed and joy-filled photo session. Their little one was all smiles and curiosity, soaking up every moment while his parents played airplane, cuddled, and laughed with him. Their adorable pug even joined the fun, adding a dose of extra personality to the photos!
I first photographed this family when their baby was a newborn, and it was such a joy to see how much he’s grown. Working with returning families is one of the most meaningful parts of my job. With each session, there’s a growing comfort and rhythm — a shared warmth and friendliness that allows the images to reflect their genuine connection. The result is a gallery filled with glowing light, natural emotion, and both tender and playful moments.
