This sweet Los Gatos family recently welcomed the tiniest new member of their crew—a beautiful baby girl! Just over two weeks old during our session, baby A was already showing early smiles and the most adorable yawns. In fact, every time she let out a big yawn, her dad did too—such a tender and heartwarming connection.
We photographed in several rooms throughout their home—the primary bedroom, the nursery, and the living room—all filled with lovely natural light. I especially loved capturing a few images in their stunning new kitchen, which was thoughtfully designed by mom. When a home has multiple well-lit spaces, it allows us to create a diverse gallery with a variety of beautiful backdrops.
As a Bay Area lifestyle newborn photographer, these in-home sessions are where the magic truly happens. There’s something so meaningful about documenting a family in their own space during those first few weeks—no rush, no posing pressure, just real moments filled with emotion. From sleepy stretches to quiet cuddles, the early bonding between parents and their newborn is always a joy to witness and capture.
The atmosphere during this session was calm, cozy, and full of love. The family was gracious and welcoming, and baby A was the sweetest little star.
