This sweet Los Altos Hills family just welcomed their newest addition—an adorable baby boy! At just eight weeks old, baby W was already beginning to smile during our session, making it extra special to capture both his bright, curious eyes and his sleepy snuggles.
As a Bay Area lifestyle newborn photographer, one of my favorite parts of in-home sessions is documenting the authentic connection between parents and their new baby. There’s something so timeless and tender about those early moments of bonding—gentle snuggles, sleepy stretches, and soft glances filled with love.
We also included a few meaningful heirloom items during the session, including a hand-knitted blanket and tiny booties gifted to the family. Details like these help tell the story of baby W’s earliest days and add a personal touch to every image.
The nursery was especially beautiful—thoughtfully designed and full of natural light—so we made the most of it, capturing many of the family’s sweetest moments in that peaceful space. I love when families include the nursery in their session; it’s a place full of memories in the making.
